Vintage SDT5000 Sony DDS2 SCSI /SCSI-2 Internal DAT Drive - NEW. Vintage Sony Digital Data Storage Model SDT-5000 Ver 1.30. The Sony SDT-5000 half height tape drive is the second generation in the DDS family and the first version of the DDS2 drive that Sony produced. It was manufactured by Sony for vendors including Compaq and Dell, for use as standalone internal and external drives targetting the small business market. Support format: DDS-2 and DDS.

High Burst Transfer Rate: 3Mb/sec Asynchronous, 5MB/sec Synhronous. Please Study the pictures as they are part of the items description. The Drive comes within its original box and instructions, please see pictures. Clearing out items accumulated in our house over the years and thinning out my unwanted collected items.
