Vintage Yamaha CDR400t-NB SCSI 4x Quad Speed CD-R CD-ROM burner Tested Working

This drive was powered up. The drive was connected to an Adaptec SCSI controller and file read tests specific to CD-ROM drives were conducted using Windows NT 4.0 on an equally vintage ThinkPad 755CX. I also wrote an ISO image as shown in the pictures to this drive, which was written perfectly. This drive is ready for use, be it with a vintage system, or for MIDI equipment that also uses the SCSI bus.

This drive is a quad speed CD-R and read speed is up to 6x. This also has a jumper on the back to change block size. This is important for very old versions of UNIX that require a 512 byte block instead of the standard 2048 byte block on CD-ROMs. Only a few vendors have this option, making this Yamaha drive highly desirable. I stand behind my vintage items and my feedback speaks for itself.
